Hi Christine. Just a short note to thank you for our stay at Hokimai. The place was absolutely perfect for our occasion. Members of our group of 11 all had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality. All aspects met our expectations and more. Pat Butler-Lane provided a lovely meal for us in the evening and everyone commented how nice she and her assistant were and how much they enjoyed the food. Carterton Shuttles met us as arranged and were also very accommodating. Many thanks for enabling what was a lovely occasion. - Kind regards, Bud and Carolyn, May 2012

Christine, we had such a lovely time at Hokimai, the house is superb and very welcoming. The bedrooms are great and the beds are very comfortable, we entertained a large group after our function and everyone commented on the excellence of the house.  Many thanks we loved our little weekend, 26 people at Mirabelle and a fine 70th birthday. - Regards, Carol and Craig, 22 April 2012

What others say

The small rural town in the Wairarapa is known as New Zealand’s Daffodil Capital and has proudly held the Daffodil Festival every September since the 1920s. But there’s plenty to occupy visitors in other seasons whether they’re outdoor types or prefer fossicking in antique shops and cafés. Plus the town has some surprising themed attractions.
